Last, for a bit of fun, (this is a photoshopped image), a fox and rabbit pic. I was taking photos of this fox, then after he trotted off into the hedgeline in the background the rabbit popped his head up. So I took a photo of the rabbit too and thought I'd combine them. Kind of a made up - what might have been...

Beside the Sea

Spent the weekend on the south coast, forgot to pack the suncream - thankfully it was a classic rainy seaside trip. Not so much Sun, Sea and Sand, more Showers, Soggy Chips and Seagulls.

Bluebell summer

Wandering through the bluebells of Savernake at the weekend, as usual I found it pretty hard to find a particularly good composition, but I think there is some progress from last year. Helped no end by spotting the deer in amongst the sea of blue. (I saw several but only this one in the flowers).

Just as you thought it was getting all warm, Sunny and summery, the rain reminds you - you live in England. (Not so bad if you love the rain).

Down Swanage way

Was down camping in Toms Field last weekend, had a really good time. Sunburnt satuday and soaked sunday.

Wandering to new places in the local countryside I stumbled across this fine tree lined irrigation ditch, which I think makes a cool photo.

If deers like eating lush green grass then this one must be in heaven (except for some bloke taking her photo). Taken on long lens after sunset, using ISO 800 then using some noise reduction.

If the weather plays ball this weekend hopefully I will get my act together and see what else I can find to snap.

Had a half day thursday, I put some miles on my walking boots with my eye tuned for anything yellow...

Friday sunset

Stormy saturday morning

It was very windy with the cold north wind hitting the north facing coastline, crashing waves smashing up a haze of sea spray. These pictures were taken from the relative shelter of an old military bunker turned birdwatching hide, it's a good angle, but would have been nice to find a new angle without risk of being blown off the cliffs.
