Painted Lady butterfly sucking nectar from an Aster flower, after its 1000 mile migration from Morocco. This year looks set to be the biggest migration of these butterflies from Africa to England ever, since heavy winter rains in the Atlas mountains provided good food for their young and then hot weather has lured them north. Millions will have made the journey and come autumn they will all be heading back south again.
