ahhhh thanks for these pics Mark. My Dad had the old disused quarry to the right of the viaduct for his business for many years whilst I was growing up. I remember seeing the "flying scotsman" go over it (I think on it's last trip).
That sounds amazing! I did think it would have been fantastic to see the Duchess go over it, but she was on a different line.
We only had a flying drive around the Dales, but will definitely go back for a proper stay one day, it was beautiful.
