However .. it was on this day 4 years ago that I was excitedly opening up a brand new Canon 350D that began my venture into digital photography! Somewhere around 26,000 photos later and I am still learning and loving every shot. My cameras have taken me to all sorts of places and they've shown me all kinds of wonderful things...
From glorious sunrises on a peaceful frosty morning to the raw intensity of heavy metal concerts. From wide eyed, wild deers in a sea of bluebells to ground shaking steam locomotives thundering past.
From gloriously warm barley fields swaying in the summer evening light to beautiful frozen snowscapes of winter.
From the smallest insects on the brightest flower to cavernous cathedrals of piercing light and heavy shadows.
From the Lochs and otters of Scotland in the north to the crashing seas and cormorants of the south coast.
From relics of a long forgotten history to the latest events creating todays history.
From the youngest fuzzy, new born swans to the might and gentle strength of 1000 year old Oaks.
From long exposures of blurry seas and late sunset skies to snaphots of swooping falcons taken in an instance.
From carefully planned and organised compositions to those ever-welcome happy coincidences of natural co-operation.
From wild horses in New Forest mists to the roaring horse power and drama of a tractor pull.
.. and so the adventure continues...
