Lake District 1

Finally starting to sift through my holiday photos, no lens problems this time (touch wood) and 10 days of Sun to snap away in!  These are from the first couple of days, not too bad considering I was pretty ill with flu (just plain old normal flu thankfully).

One eyed robin, our neighbour for the stay.  A bit old, scruffy and with one dodgy eye he reminded me of Sir Patrick Moore!  :)

Fly Agaric mushrooms!  Pretty rare in the UK, and to find these two together was brilliant.  Apparently Fly Agaric mushrooms were eaten by Siberian shamans who would then give their urine to the tribe to drink, enhancing the halucinagenic properties of the mushrooms poison while reducing the side effects.  Basically acting as a human filter!  Hmm, think I'll stick with red wine!
